Rapid Transformational Therapy or RTT is a form of hypnotherapy that integrates techniques from other therapies such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). The goal is to access the mind’s subconscious to unlock and change negative and limiting beliefs and habits.

RTT also helps identify the root cause of various mental, emotional, and physical issues, thus allowing patients to heal themselves permanently without the need for long-drawn sessions.

An RTT session can last anywhere from 90 to 120 minutes, depending on the issues you are willing to delve into. Most people find they can resolve their issues within one session, but it can last up to three. While each session is different for each person, they all follow similar stages, as detailed below.

Discussion

Sessions begin with a brief discussion about the problem at hand. This is not meant to be a long discussion. It is just to bring the issue to the forefront of your subconscious so that when you are in your hypnotic state, that issue is the focus.

Hypnosis

The therapist will guide you into a state of deep relaxation using techniques such as visualization exercises. Some people describe this as a floating sensation where you are awake but very sleepy. However, not everyone experiences such a feeling, but that does not mean that the hypnosis is not working.

Questioning

Once you are in this state, your therapist will begin a line of questioning that will probe your subconscious for the root cause of your issues. This may lead to uncovering forgotten memories and feelings. Ultimately it should lead to pinpointing the start of the negative beliefs and habits.

Upgrading

This stage is when you break these old beliefs and heal. With the guidance of your therapist, you will reprogram your mind to eliminate those negative and limiting behaviors by recognizing their origin and the feeling surrounding them that allowed them to grow in the first place. This can be very emotionally draining, but many find it extremely cathartic. You may be able to resolve your issues within a single session, but another session may be needed to address all issues.

After the Session

Once the session has ended, you can feel a range of emotions, from elated and joyful to quiet and reflective. This process is an intense experience; many find they are quite tired after their sessions, while others still feel the sleepy effects of the hypnosis sometime after.

Affirmations

After your session, you will receive an affirmative recording that you have to listen to for the next 21 days to permanently imprint the reprogramming into your subconscious. This is an essential step for ensuring the effectiveness of the treatment.

Wrapping up

As the name suggests, Rapid Transformational Therapy works to quickly discover and resolve the problematic issues embedded in your subconscious that are causing the issues you face. One RTT session goes through several stages that make it more powerful and invasive than your regular therapy session, but that is why it is so effective and why so many have found solace in its techniques.
